EVVA Xesar Escutcheon Battery Operated Single Sided Proximity Lock With Key Override

The electronic Xesar Escutcheon battery operated door lock is a perfect solution for any door; it seamlessly combines the benefits of a mechanical door handle with an electronic locking system.

The Xesar Escutcheon has a broad range of uses, due to its narrow design it can be used solid or metal frame doors and can be used on internal and external applications. This unit is designed to accept a euro profile cylinder meaning that the lock can be overridden from either side with either a thumbturn or the appropriate key. Should the batteries be left for too long a device is available to allow emergency battery power to be applied to the unit to allow normal operation.

It is rated to IP55 (IP52 without mounted sealing gasket) meaning that it is suitable for outdoor use, it is suitable for temperatures between –20°C and +60°C and is field reversible making it suitable for both left and right hand applications. It takes 3 x AAA batteries which are easily replaceable and have a long life and is supplied complete with an instruction manual and a fitting template for easy installation.
