Readers and keypads are pre-wired with 5m of cable. If this needs extending then CR9540 reader cable must be used. The maximum cable length from reader to control unit is 100m. When using reader cable over distances in excess of 25m the 12V and 0V cores should be doubled up to minimise voltage drop.
